Dr. Greg Yank of the University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center is a hematologist and blood and marrow transplant physician who treats patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood and bone marrow diseases. Dr. Yank will outline the best ways to recognize, prevent, diagnose and treat this rare chronic disease, focusing on lung issues. As well, Lauren Saban, LMSW of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will focus on the many psychosocial and emotional needs of all GVHD patients. Additionally, Becky Dame, a two-time transplant survivor of leukemia in Florida who lives with CGVHD is also an Information Specialist for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society who will share her personal and professional perspective. This webinar will be facilitated by Jennifer Gillette, our licensed staff social worker. There will be time for questions and answers following the presentation.
